Since arriving at Colby College in the Fall Semester of 1999, Professor Gastaldo has directed Independent Study projects and Honors Theses. Many of these students have published abstracts for their research presentations at national meetings of the Geological Society of America. In addition, several students are senior or junior authors on peer-reviewed professional articles published in top tier geoscience journals.
