Dear Don –

I’m so surprised and pleased at the same time,
I could spit! Right out of the blue, that call
from Stephen Bloom! I’m awfully grateful
you thought of me as a poet for Marietta
College. Can’t think how to tell you what that
means to me, except to say that I’m now
even higher than before ! Is there really a
world down there or did I only imagine it?
