I realized after you left Carl and me today
I had not asked you about your son.

How is he doing? Are his injuries so serious
that he will be at your house for a long
time?

Crazy of me not to ask, since this
has been on my mind.

Anyway, it was good to see you, new
haircut and all. I do hope you found
your check!
