Dear Don,

Inspired by “a recent letter from Donald Hall,”
Robert Richman has sent me two sample issues
of The New Criterion and asked me to send him
poems to consider for publication. Once again, I
am grateful for your help. And, of course, I’m
excited.

Does Joey happen to have any of my poems on
hand? Or if he doesn’t, what should I write
about when?

I await your advice. In the meantime,
thank you.
