Professor Richard Cary (1909-1990) served as our second Curator of Rare Books. Building upon the foundation laid by our first Curator, Carl Weber, he expanded the breadth and depth of the collections amidst a period of campus and cultural changes.
Student scholarship: Read a brief biography of Richard Cary written by Meghan Kelly, Class of 2017, 2013-2014 Presidential Scholar.
