Community Voices: Original Soundscapes for “Light on Main Street”

Waterville Alternative High School students created soundscapes and a playlist inspired by the videos on view in the Colby College Museum of Art’s exhibition, Light on Main Street. To listen to these audio tracks, click the media player or embedded Spotify playlist below. Light on Main Street is on view at the museum’s Joan Dignam Schmaltz Gallery from December 17, 2022 – January 23, 2023.

Thank you to Jessica Hamilton-Jones, Waterville Alternative High School’s art teacher, for facilitating the museum’s collaboration with emerging artists in our community.

Student artists involved in the project include: Abby Albert, Teja Benbow, Carly Burnell, Aaron Hall, Leo Koch, Hannah Nelson, Ann Prickett, Miranda Rego, and Nolan Veilleux.
