A spin-off of the popular film Wet Hot American Summer, Wet Cold American Winter is a weekend-long winter festival full of outdoor and food-related events to build community and celebrate winter in Waterville.

Project Goals
- Create programming to encourage people to enjoy the outdoors during the long winter
- Provide an opportunity for members of the Waterville and Colby communities to interact and build community in the downtown
- Engage with local businesses and organizations in the downtown
- Disrupt the dominance of cars on Main Street and promote walkability of Waterville to challenge the existing urban structure
- Establish an unique, annual festival that is popular amongst locals and out-of-towners

Project Team
- Project managers Catherine Fraser, Griffin Stevens, Adam Zarfos will organize Wet Cold American Winter in its first year
- During the first year of Wet Cold American Winter, a Waterville Winter Programming Committee (WWPC) will be formed to take over running Wet Cold American Winter and to enable additional winter programming in Waterville moving forward
