自杀秩序与湖北京山农村老年人自杀

杨华 原文载《开放时代》2009年第5期 我们在江汉平原的京山农村调查老年人状况时,问及老年人的非正常死亡情况,得到的回答是“我们这里就没有老人正常死亡的”。这让调查者深感震惊。从京山九房村的调查,及其他村庄的信息反馈来看,该地区老年人的自杀率确实比较高。[①]据我们不完全统计,改革30年来,仅1060人的九房村就有24例老人自杀,村民认为远不止这个数,估计要达到40~50例。近二十年,老年人自杀尤为集中和突出,村里几乎每年都有一两例老年人自杀,估计每10个死亡老人中就有3~4人是自杀身亡。
