(人民日报) 有一天,我们终将老去。难展望,那是何等“老境”? 从人口结构和年龄层次分析,我们面临的未来,不仅“未富先老”,还多半“老而空巢”,且愈演愈烈。 据统计,上海截至去年底,共有空巢老人92.21万人,约占户籍人口老年人总数的29.2%,其中独居老人18.87万。而全国1.67亿60岁以上老人中,有一半过着“空巢”生活不与子女居住在一起,或者没有子女。
China ponders aging problem as it marks Seniors Day
(Xinhua) BEIJING – Wang Jianping, 63, a healthy retiree from a Beijing-based enterprise, has recently begun searching for nursing homes. “When I cannot move, I will live in the old people’s home and will not inconvenience my children,” Wang said.
