我国近一半老人过空巢生活 生命质量相对较低

(人民日报) 有一天，我们终将老去。难展望，那是何等“老境”？ 从人口结构和年龄层次分析，我们面临的未来，不仅“未富先老”，还多半“老而空巢”，且愈演愈烈。 据统计，上海截至去年底，共有空巢老人92.21万人，约占户籍人口老年人总数的29.2%，其中独居老人18.87万。而全国1.67亿60岁以上老人中，有一半过着“空巢”生活不与子女居住在一起，或者没有子女。

China ponders aging problem as it marks Seniors Day

(Xinhua) BEIJING – Wang Jianping, 63, a healthy retiree from a Beijing-based enterprise, has recently begun searching for nursing homes. “When I cannot move, I will live in the old people’s home and will not inconvenience my children,” Wang said.
