Using the arts and math games to build numeracy
Sum Camp is “Mini-Sum Camp” in 2025. It will be June 23 – June 27 (Mon – Fri) from 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM. Registration is now open!
Sum Camp is a month-long day camp for Waterville public school students. It builds a deep intuitive understanding of mathematical concepts by embedding them in music, movement, visual art, theatre, and games. Each activity is carefully designed to build a growth mindset or reinforce topics from the K – 4 elementary school curriculum in creative ways. (There are no worksheets!) Our curriculum is custom-designed to be fun and rewarding, especially for students who (up until now) don’t much care for math. Watch the video below (or on YouTube) for more information!
