What we done did:

  • Lacey went to Hill house with her woody plants class and pulled out lots of invasive species!
  • Alexis and Joseph did French on Friday and made ramen with some ASA (Asian Student Association) friends.
  • Molly went for a run and saw the sunset!
  • Grace went to goat yoga (at a farm near portland, ME)
  • Jack brought some wood to the COC cabin!

 

What we gonna do:

  • Take the dock out at the COC cabin (the last weekend before we go home, more information to come out soon).
  • Bentley may be interested in leading a hike this weekend!
    • Megan and Bentley costume hike 3.0
      • Blue Moon
  • Photography Club collaboration 11/7, leaders please let us know if you are interested!
  • Fun run 10/31 from 12-4pm
  • I-club hikes need some leaders
  • Muslim Society sunset on French Mountain  hike on Friday with Joseph and Alexis!
  • Bridge hike this Friday, sign-ups go through the bridge mentorship program.

 

Hunting Season for adults and guns opens on the 24th! Wear BRIGHT ORANGE or BRIGHT PINK.

 

Big Buds:

Trips:

  • Both Present
    • COC Environmental Humanities collaboration (Rachel Carson nature preserve)
      • Art or journaling or tote bags or whatever else can be funded by SAB of EH 
      • Planned for the weekend after Halloween!
  • LTT training
    • This will occur the weekend of November 13-15!
    • There will be an interest form sent out this week, and see what people are excited about!
  • Leader Profile updates
    • We will look into it, but for the most part leaders in training become leaders!

Cabin:

  • NO, don’t go there, it’s still closed!

DEI:

  • So many collaborations are happening
    • Check them out!

Events:

  • Both Abby and Lacey are present <3
  • All things have been covered above!
  • Whittling Wednesdays, come whittle 7-8 pm
  • Friendship Bracelets/return of Knitting nights! Thursday from 7-8 pm (in the COC office)

Gear:

    • Please return your gear!
    • The ice skates have been moved to the AC, you can rent them there, but return them to us if you already have them in your possession!
    • The gear room is clean (but empty) we are working on cleaning gear and re-organizing.

 

  • The COC office will eventually be getting cleaned out, hopefully we will be able to have a meeting there next week.
