BI345 – Advanced Genomics

Welcome! In this course, we will continue to explore how genomics can be used to understand the natural world. You will learn best practices for analyzing functional genomics data and apply these best practices in guided and independent projects.

Knowledge Goals

  • Build a foundation knowledge of the statistical logic behind best practices for experimental design and data analysis in functional genomics
  • Analyze and comprehend research articles in functional genomics
  • Establish and continue individual practice for managing genomic data and analyses
  • Gain a working knowledge of how to use functional genomic data to answer biological questions
