Unity Official Website is a great place to learn some of the Unity basics. It has hundreds of video-based tutorials covering topics ranging from simple scripting, to optimizing a game for VR.
However, this is the best place to start if you’ve never opened up the program. You get a broad tutorial about how use Unity by exploring the engine itself. Once you get past this lesson, here are some great tutorials to take from there:

Learn-CSS is a great beginner site, as you get a very simple text-based introduction to C++, while getting to apply your learning with on-site coding exercises. On its sister-sites (the links to which are found on Learn-CSS), you can get similar intros to C#, Java, and Python amongst other languages.
Learn CPP, not to be confused with the above, is a decade-old site dedicated to helping you learn C++ from the ground-up. It’s completely text-based, with no video tutorials or downloadable follow-along project files, and is updated every time the language changes (which isn’t often).
Lynda is another expansive education site that all Colby students with a colby.edu email have a subscription for. Learn a multitude of softwares and coding languages through video tutorials and downloadable practice files for you to follow along with.
