ISRIUM 2017 is part of a series of international meetings that began in Geneva, Switzerland in 1978 with the EuChem Conference on Electron-Deficient Intermediates (organized by Professors Charles Jefford and Curt Wentrup). Since then nearly thirty five conferences have been held at different locations around the world. A historical list of these meetings is given below with the names of organizers inside parentheses.
