Chinese Think Tank Urges End To ‘One-Child’ Policy
A Chinese government think tank is urging the country’s leaders to start phasing out its “one-child” policy immediately and allow two children for every family by 2015, a daring proposal to do away with the unpopular policy.
Some demographers see the timeline put forward by the China Development Research Foundation as a bold move by the body close to the central leadership. Others warn that the gradual approach, if implemented, would still be insufficient to help correct the problems that China’s strict birth limits have created. Continue reading

老豆状告儿子不肯赡养，儿子说你自己的老豆也没见你赡养，还是我代你赡养的，你凭啥要我养？
这天，雷雨交加，年近八旬王老伯夫妇相互搀扶着，来到法院，状诉他们的大儿子阿华。
老夫妇共生育了六个儿女，但大儿子阿华基本上不管他们，一般都是其他五个儿女在帮忙张罗。近年来，两老年岁渐高病痛缠身，医疗花费越来越多，幸好有老人家自己和其他五个儿女分摊着，生活还算挨得住。 Continue reading
