- Lee lectured at his alma maters of Colby College and Clark University, from 1949.
- On February 15′ 1954, Clark University awarded Lee an honorary degree. He later taught courses on Sociology, Chinese culture, and Asian politics. （Ladera, 2003）
- Doctorates in Law and Philosophy in 1958. (Ladera, 2003).
- Lee taught at the University of Washington.
- Teaching Seattle inmates, who voluntarily attended his classes on Confucianism and philosophy.
- Opened an Academy of Oriental Philosophy with his wife, Mrs.Lee.

Besides these most renowned achievements, Lee also wrote many books, such as such “The Fine Art of Chinese Cooking”, where Lee showed the world the Confucius origin behind Chinese culinary art and developed over 10,000 simple recipes for the North American household, and “The Essentials of Chinese Drama”. These books introduced Chinese culture to the American people in intimate ways.
Lee also donated many of his personal collections to Colby. One of these is a set of four imperial lanterns, one of which is still in Lovejoy 423 till today.
