The Chinese Odyssey

The Chinese Odyssey is an unpublished autobiographical manuscript by John Lee that traces his intellectual and personal journey from his early education in China to his later years in the United States. Blending memoir with historical reflection, the work documents his formative experiences within a rapidly changing China, his decision to pursue education abroad, and his eventual enrollment at Colby College. Through this transnational narrative, John offers a first-hand account of cultural transition, identity formation, and the pursuit of knowledge across vastly different social and political landscapes.
