Each year, the CSAC members lead the staff award process to identify and recognize the contributions and outstanding achievements of support and administrative staff from across the College. Awards are given annually and these awards are among the highest honors awarded to staff by Colby.
Civic Engagement Award – recognizes those who lift up the broader community surrounding Colby in meaningful ways through their time and talents.
Emerging Leader Award – recognizes the next generation of leaders who demonstrate visionary leadership that inspires and positively impacts the Colby community.
Inclusive Leadership Award – recognizes those who foster an environment that creates a sense of belonging and respect for all members of the team.
Innovation Award – recognizes those who bring forward and implement innovative idea(s) that improve effectiveness and efficiency of a process, establish a best practice, or solve a problem in a new and different way.
Outstanding Service Award – celebrates those who have made extraordinary contributions to the lives of the Colby community through committed, thoughtful, and generous effort and service.
Unsung Hero Award – recognizes the exemplary work and contributions of those who are critical to the day-to-day operations of the College but are behind the scenes and oftentimes out of the spotlight from recognition.
