This website was created by students in the Digital Lab AR397A Tradition and Innovation in Mid-Century Frescoes: The South Solon Meeting House taught at Colby College in the fall semester 2022 by Professor Véronique Plesch. The course was supported by the Colby College Center for the Arts and Humanities, whom we wish to thank. Our gratitude goes first and foremost to the Board of Directors of the South Solon Historical Society for trusting us with the creation of this website. Our thanks to all the individuals who assisted us in our work: Sigmund Abeles, Jessamine Batario, Brian Boyd, Jenna Buckingham, Patricia Burdick, H. Nichols B. Clark, Andy Davis, David Franzen, Ellen Freeman, Faye Hirsch, Sidney Hurwitz, David Larkin, Yvonne Laube, Alexandra Mendez, Fannie Ouyang, Marisa C. Sánchez, Barbara Sullivan, Deb Thurston, Donald Toothaker, Mark Wardecker, Sarah Workneh, and Martha Young.
