finally! the time has come! the flocks have flocked their feathers over to inhabit hers truly miller lawn. it was a long time coming, there were doubters, people were unclear if the grass would ever show its face on this campus again. but on today at the time of this writing, the deed has been done. the grass has been found out and conquered. colby students have shed their layers and permeated from the depths of the insides to stream their way back onto the green spaces. and what will the students do now with their reclaimed venue? 10% will do homework, 20% will pretend to do said homework and the other 70%? straight messarounds. soak up that glorious vitamin d my friends! the outside is a welcoming place today 🙂
but, for the final time, here is what happened last week in the outside!
what we done did
- jackie shadowed ltt in mount blue
- webb lake beach, lessons, tumbledown, lots of snow and ice yikes
- max went to ragged mountain
- it was ragged and beautiful and he could see the ocean
- taryn went to acadia with keenan and megan
- sunburns! 2 weddings! keenan SWAM in the ocean!
- grace and caroline et al. went up mt battie to the tower!
- no snow, sketchy entry, no fees
- michaela saw bluets! and found FOUR four leaf clovers
- she is lucky lucky lucky lucky
- grace took her bike away from campus
- she got a flat, someone rescued her
- max hammocked then michael hammocked and zoe hammocked
- 5/10 experience
- michael went to kaitlin’s house and atved
- someone almost maybe kinda got stuck
- also frisbee golf was played
- kaitlin and michael tied for the record
- charlie played wiffle ball with pals
- it was fun
- dingers were ripped
- zoe and park went to rumford whitecap, beautiful, snacks
- malcolm was the third tripper…?
- max walked from downtown to uptown
- shuttles stopped to ask him if he needed a ride
- julia and colleen hiked a mile on the AT!

- they also stopped at the fiddlehead festival
