Ways to build a better social relationship between young Waterville residents and Colby students?
- Offering weekend shuttle service to people looking to come on campus and participate in Colby social events like concerts and athletic events, in addition to continuing to shuttle students into Waterville
- Inviting 21+ students from other schools, such as Thomas and KVCC (which have a lot of local students), to come to on-campus pub nights or share Thursday bar nights with Colby.
- Encouraging students to go downtown independently, especially to eat or drink. Colby students should be interacting with the town and the people in it in smaller-scale, more meaningful ways rather than swarming local bars in packs one night a week.
