For Jews on college campuses, finding a dance partner could be tricky. Jewish students often weren’t invited to dances hosted by mainstream fraternities. When Jewish fraternities sponsored dances, like the one this card comes from, the men often tried to dance with “townies” and other non-Jewish partners. Jewish women were not amused.
