The Archives Education Fellowship in Special Collections is a 9-month (August through May) appointment that provides essential support to the archives education librarian and the teaching program. The Fellowship is conceived to be a fifth-year professional opportunity that provides recent Colby graduates with valuable archival and teaching experience as well as relevant skills for those who are interested in pursuing a career in special collections, archives, rare books, public history, museum education, or graduate studies in library science. We also seek to support students who are unsure of their next step after they graduate, and hope to offer a meaningful transition year that will allow them the time to gain useful professional (and life!) skills while they consider where they want to go and what they want to do next.
For more information about the fellowship, please contact Erin Rhodes ([email protected]) or Katie Donahue ([email protected]).
