Camp Franklin
p.m.
The other members of the
staff seem to be quite all away.
I believe I am entirely alone here
at head quarters. The weather is
delightful and makes on feel
languid—too much so. I like
the sharp strong weather we
generally have at the north,
rather than these mild and genial
days of the “Sunny south.”
This forenoon I purchased
an album and fifteen pictures
for Lizzie—a present.
