The Zimbabwe Herald is a government owned newspaper that is sometimes criticized for being too one-sided. We were interested in investigating the frequency of reports in The Zimbabwe Herald because Zimbabwe is currently suffering from a cholera outbreak as well. We were interested to examine whether countries that suffered from specific global health inequities were concerned about other countries whom were dealing with the same health issue.

Zimbabwe is located in Sub-Saharan Africa and suffers from cholera, along with many other health inequalities.
According to our research, it does not appear that Zimbabwe newspaper focused heavily on the cholera outbreak in Haiti. We found 3 articles in our time frames that discussed the spread of cholera and the role of the UN. The newspaper followed similar trends of other news sources, in which they reported about aid intervention and the high death toll.
