Our campus harbors a wealth of fascinating arboreal specimens, which go unnoticed far too often. This website is a portal to a better understanding of the trees that make our campus environment so beautiful.<\/p>\n<p>On this site you can find details for\u00a0<a title=\"Native Species\" href=\"http:\/\/web.colby.edu\/treetours\/nativespecies\/\">Native Species<\/a>,\u00a0<a title=\"Species of Interest\" href=\"http:\/\/web.colby.edu\/treetours\/speciesinterest\/\">Species of Interest<\/a>, and our\u00a0<a title=\"Walking Tours\" href=\"http:\/\/web.colby.edu\/treetours\/walkingtours\/\">Walking Tour<\/a>. She was on the Women\u2019s Cross Country, Indoor, and Outdoor Track teams, and loves playing outdoors.<\/p>\n<p>Matt Silverman (\u201912) was a Biology and Environmental Studies: Science double major from Montclair, New Jersey. He was a trip leader and officer for the Colby Outing Club throughout college and led many orientation (COOT) trips. Matt also rowed for the Men\u2019s Crew Team and tapped trees on campus <a href=\"http:\/\/web.colby.edu\/treetours\/nativespecies\/#14\">(Sugar Maples)<\/a> to make maple syrup. He loves being outside and has a passion for woodworking.<\/p>\n<p>Molly Susla (&#8217;13) continued the work of Matt and Sylvia. She was an Environmental Studies major from Freeport, ME. While at Colby, she worked for the ES program pulling invasive species out of the Perkins Arboretum.
