Introduction to the Tree Tour

There are over 1400 trees on the Colby campus, but few of them are known to the casual observer. Our campus harbors a wealth of fascinating arboreal specimens, which go unnoticed far too often. This website is a portal to a better understanding of the trees that make our campus environment so beautiful.

On this site you can find details for Native SpeciesSpecies of Interest, and our Walking Tour. The walking tour provides an introduction to the trees on campus and the Identification pages are available for more in-depth exploration.
