Price, co-curators of <em>Roy Lichtenstein: History in the Making, 1948-1960<\/em> discuss&nbsp;the little-known early career of the Pop art legend and their collaborative work on this groundbreaking exhibition, which begins its national tour at the Colby College Museum of Art. Featuring about 90 works, many of which are on public view for the first time, <em>Roy Lichtenstein: History in the Making, 1948-1960<\/em> includes examples from all of the artist\u2019s mediums\u2013painting, sculpture, drawing, and printmaking\u2013and demonstrates the formal invention and provocative nature of Lichtenstein\u2019s early production. Although the Colby Museum is presently open only to current Colby students, faculty, and staff, this exhibition can be experienced virtually <a href=\"https:\/\/www.colby.edu\/museum\/exhibition\/roy-lichtenstein-history-in-the-making-1948-1960\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>At the Colby Museum,&nbsp;Finch is the Interim Director of the Lunder Institute and the Lunder Curator of American Art. Price is the&nbsp;Nancy A. Nasher and David J. Haemisegger Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Nasher Museum at Duke University.
