In 2025, Colby is transitioning to Workday also being our student information, billing, and course registration system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?<\/strong> There are a few steps that all students enrolling at Colby for Fall \u201925 need to complete:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Starting April 7, log into Workday from myColby or Okta.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarize yourself with your Student Profile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete student Onboarding tasks will be delivered to your Workday \u201cMy Tasks\u201d (indicated by the \u201cStart Here\u201d icon in the image below); check your inbox regularly to ensure you\u2019ve completed all tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Explore Fall \u201925 course sections for registration offerings, build your 1st-choice Saved Schedule, build alternate schedules (back-up Saved Schedules), and meet with your advisor to review your Fall choices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Register when your Registration Appointment opens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HOW CAN I GET HELP WITH WORKDAY? <\/strong>There are info sessions and office hours to assist you, and there is no sign-up required to get this support. <strong>Office hours support is hosted every day April 14 &#8211; May 9 at lunch in the Silberman Lounge<\/strong> in the Cotter Union. More information about additional sessions can be found via the QR code to the right. You can also access <strong>how-to guides<\/strong>, <strong>videos<\/strong>, and <strong>FAQs<\/strong> there! Note: if you\u2019re graduating in May \u201925, you will not be using Workday Student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>WORKDAY STUDENT:  FOR FACULTY &amp; STAFF<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HOW CAN I GET STARTED?<\/strong>Edit your search category preferences in Workday to include the STUDENT category. Monitor your \u201cMy Tasks\u201d inbox to ensure all incoming tasks and requests have been completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-regular-font-size\"><strong>HOW CAN FACULTY\/STAFF SUPPORT FALL \u201925 REGISTRATION?<\/strong>  Familiarize yourself with the Faculty\/Staff Academics dashboard. Review your advisees\u2019 Saved Schedules for Fall \u201925. Complete academic requests (e.g., prerequisite override requests) when they come into your Workday \u201cMy Tasks\u201d inbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-regular-font-size\"><strong>WHEN IS ALL THIS HAPPENING?<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-regular-font-size\"><strong>April 7-18<\/strong>: Advising for Fall \u201925; students get access to Workday and should explore its functions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-regular-font-size\"><strong>April 21-25<\/strong>: Registration for Fall \u201925; students use Workday to sign up for their fall classes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-regular-font-size\">Afterward, students make changes to Fall \u201925 course selections if desired. Advisors and instructors can also use the office hours listed earlier in this poster for help with Workday Student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-regular-font-size\"><strong>TRAINING &amp; SUPPORT.<\/strong> For faculty &amp; staff:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Training sessions are available in person &amp; via Zoom.
