Hello! Thanks for stopping by. We’re the caring and sharing part of the Belgrade Lakes Watershed Sustainability Project – we’re the middleman between the sciences and humanities, translating the facts regarding water quality to stakeholders in the Belgrade Lakes.
We’re currently researching and publicizing the incentives for lake preservation in terms of sense of place. The Belgrade Lakes region has a unique community and culture that was created around the water. What would happen to both should the lakes no longer become usable? People don’t know what they have until it’s gone. Our job is show them what they have before that happens.
