{"id":2007,"date":"2020-10-19T14:38:57","date_gmt":"2020-10-19T18:38:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.colby.edu\/outingclub\/?p=2007"},"modified":"2020-10-19T14:38:57","modified_gmt":"2020-10-19T18:38:57","slug":"in-person-and-zooooom-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.colby.edu\/outingclub\/2020\/10\/19\/in-person-and-zooooom-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"In person and zooooom meeting!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What we done did:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bentley and his roommates played paintball on Runnals today!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Taryn went for a walk to the two cent bridge and looked at the Kennebec River.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Megan and her roommate went to Saddleback and Burnt Mountain and saw a bunch of wind turbines.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Taryn went to Old Speck on Monday of fall break and went up the fire tower and met some more aggressive grey jays.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lacey and Abby led a scavenger hunt on Monday of fall break, but the path had been disrupted in the arb so they had to make some adjustments.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">They had 6 groups join them!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Grace led a trip to Saddleback and hiked 15 miles, it was soooo fun!<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Blood and Sweat but no tears<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bentley led a trip to Beech Hill preserve, it was a lovely preserve that looks out over Camden and Penobscot bay\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Check out the poll for a picture and a question about the stone hut!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Taryn and Alexis went to Moxie Falls on Tuesday, it was a great day.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Megan went to Ragged Mountain over fall break and it rained the whole time, so they couldn&#8217;t go out on the breakwater, but they had lots of fun!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What we gonna do:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Taryn would like to do a french mountain trip this weekend!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lots of collaboration trips will be coming up, so check the weekly emails!<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This saturday there is a trip going out with ASA!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hunting Season for adults and guns opens on the 24th!
