{"id":1830,"date":"2019-03-18T09:25:43","date_gmt":"2019-03-18T13:25:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.colby.edu\/outingclub\/?p=1830"},"modified":"2019-03-18T09:25:43","modified_gmt":"2019-03-18T13:25:43","slug":"3-17-st-patricks-day-edition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.colby.edu\/outingclub\/2019\/03\/18\/3-17-st-patricks-day-edition\/","title":{"rendered":"3\/17~ st patrick&#8217;s day edition"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>hi!<\/h2>\n<h2>march oh march. &#8220;in like a lion, out like a lamb&#8221;. well, we have seen the lion baring its fierce teeth. the chilling winds and frigid temps have sent us shivering under the warmth of our blankets. well mother nature, i sure am ready for the lamb to grace us with its presence. melting snow, rays of sunshine, bearable temperatures&#8230;.at least we can maybe escape for spring break? or shall i say sprink breag? bring spreak? spreang brink? man i could use warmth.<\/h2>\n<h3>now here is what happened last week<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">what we done did<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">lacey went to popham beach<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">it was foggy and beauteous<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">almost got trapped on an island<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">molly swam! chilly <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">joseph went to the mountain with jackie, it was \u201cfun\u201d<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">just some sweat<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">jackie and molly went to rumford whitecap<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">hot up cold down<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">some tears, lots of wind, snow, no tooth feeling<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">a disapproving mother in a parka<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">megan and grace went into the arb for alternative doghead!<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">it was foggy and spooky like a horror movie<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">jackie and zoe went to mt phillip<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cnothing to note\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">i guess that means phillip is alive and well&#8230;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">maddy led an arb hike with pcb!<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">there was hot cocoa and CHEER<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">michael played frisbee at bates (a bunch of weenies)<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">they beat someone!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">definitely sweat and cheering <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">michael and brittany went to maiden\u2019s cliff for 2 year anniversary!<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">they are adorable<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">what we gon do<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">michael s and martin are going to true mountain maple syrup<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">april 6\/7 tba <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">michael k would like to do a pleasant and nice trip<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">megan is interested<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">colleen wants to go to the belgrades wednesday or thursday afternoon<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">or a sunrise hike (with julia?)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">joseph wants to do his co lead!
