{"id":1806,"date":"2019-01-28T21:05:18","date_gmt":"2019-01-29T02:05:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.colby.edu\/outingclub\/?p=1806"},"modified":"2019-01-28T21:05:18","modified_gmt":"2019-01-29T02:05:18","slug":"1-27-goodbye-coc-edition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.colby.edu\/outingclub\/2019\/01\/28\/1-27-goodbye-coc-edition\/","title":{"rendered":"1\/27 &#8211; goodbye coc edition"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>hellooooo friends!<\/h2>\n<h2>another week has come and gone, and with every passing day, the looming specter of the spring semester grows nearer.\u00a0 soon, the carefree cold of jan plan will be replaced by the fretful frigidity of february and march.\u00a0 one may be tempted to stay inside, in dana or in bed.\u00a0 \u00a0HOWEVER you must do the OPPOSITE.\u00a0 head for the hills!\u00a0 homework, labs, and essays can&#8217;t find you hidden in a tree or under the snow.\u00a0 evasion is the only solution.<\/h2>\n<h4>but before you go, read these minutes!<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">what we done did<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">joseph and some folks went on an LTT<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ice ok it went really well<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201ci think i learned a lot\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">bentley went sledding!<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">nearly killed the toboggan<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">michael went skiing on friday as did many others for the first time!<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">conditions were crap<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">he looked \u201clonely and sad\u201d in the parking lot<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">john dowling went snowboarding on the trip and <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">soren went skiing at quarry road<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">his inner thighs hurt<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">lily went up french mountain!<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and then got part of a choco chip pancake at early bird<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">max and michael went cross country skiing on saturday and then taught people how to ski on a pretty hard trail<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">kramer went to the maine lakes resource center<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">for a class<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">no one knew what it was for<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li>the center, not the class<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">michael went to pies on parade in rockland and had a whole lot of pie<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">this should really be a COC trip<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">tickets are $30 but you get a badge and a fork<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">what we gon do<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">wednesday trip to quarry road to go sledding?<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">potentially with bentley and max<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">kaitlin might wanna lead a night hike<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">wow there might actually be trips<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">tele ski clinics this wednesday<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li>EDITORS NOTE these were all lies there are no trips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">trips!<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">bigelow bud updates!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">two new interim trips facilitation!<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">michael kramer!
