So it&#8217;s time to dust off those reading glasses, polish those reading chairs, and get ready for a doozy. The following are the mostly-true, probably-unadulterated goings-on of the Outing Club this past week.<\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"lead\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What we definitely did:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dom \u2018More or\u2019 Leskiw (and others) watched the sunrise Friday morning then ate one pancake. For those wondering, the pancake was larger than his face (an above-average 13 face units)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Taryn \u2018Go\u2019 Waite went skiing on Friday &#8211; it was fun<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Michael \u2018Definitely not Cosmo\u2019 Kramer and Macey \u2018Smallfire\u2019 Broadwater led a trip to Megunticook &#8211; Macey said it was \u201cwonderful, spectacular, cemetery, fruitful\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Luke \u2018PB and\u2019 Kelly and Sam \u2018Falls Into\u2019 Wells and Henry \u2018The\u2019 Doud and others (including me!) went to Bald Mtn, yet (unexpectedly but thankfully) did not become bald<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Max \u2018Honest\u2019 Abramson went XC skiing at Quarry Road on Monday &#8211; no one asked him a follow up question<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">People played with glow sticks on Monday! Bentley \u2018Tippy\u2019 Meyer did not fall over, which I for one don\u2019t believe<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Charlie \u2018Corn on the\u2019 Cobb went XC skiing all day every day, which seems a little extreme (XCtreme?) in my opinion<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dom \u2018Nickname Already Established\u2019 Leskiw and Macey \u2018Ditto\u2019 and others went sledding on Friday &#8211; Dom almost hit a tree accidentally, did hit his roommate on purpose<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Max went to foss and danced in contra style<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"lead\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What we probably will do:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Max wants to lead a cross country skiing clinic sometime this week (preferably Tuesday)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Colby Garden is hiring student workers &#8211; ask Nick Pattison (nmpattis@colby.edu) about it!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Soren probably wants to lead two trips per weekend for the rest of the semester &#8211; he wasn\u2019t at the meeting but it seems likely<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"lead\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Wilderness First Responder:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you&#8217;re interested in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wildmed.com\/wilderness-medical-courses\/first-response\/wilderness-first-responder\/\">Wilderness First Responder<\/a>\u00a0course taking place over Jan Plan Break, get in contact with Max Abramson (mrabra20@colby.edu) immediately!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"lead\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tele Clinic:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ryan is running another tele skiing clinic; keep an eye out for sign ups<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"lead\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Winter Katahdin:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There will be another Winter Katahdin trip in February on the 24th and 25th!
