{"id":1650,"date":"2018-01-15T22:00:47","date_gmt":"2018-01-16T03:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.colby.edu\/outingclub\/?p=1650"},"modified":"2018-01-15T22:00:47","modified_gmt":"2018-01-16T03:00:47","slug":"1-14-we-return","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.colby.edu\/outingclub\/2018\/01\/15\/1-14-we-return\/","title":{"rendered":"1\/14 &#8211; We Return"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>welcome back to the 2018 edition of the colby outing club!\u00a0 get your (or our!) snowshoes ready cause the cold frozen white snow is here to stay.<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">what we done did<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">lilli played on a frozen canadian lake, did not turn into a mountie<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">alex learned how to tele ski!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ian lost his phone on a mountain<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">megan learned how to cross country ski<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">dominick hiked in the camden hills<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">dean found a frozen lake with creepy fishermen, also dogs eating chocolate? confusing story to be honest.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">nat went arb-shoeing<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">max went sledding on a day last week at quarry road<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">lots of people went skiing, woo<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">hannah and anna and taryn went snowshoeing in the arb (good riddles were told)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">soren and his dad tried snowshoeing up a mountain, didn\u2019t make it<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">addie went rock climbing<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">james went up mt. moriah with some people<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">soren crashed his car!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">what we gon do<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">max wants to lead a trip!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">hannah wants to lead multiple trips this week! preferably short xc ski or snowshoeing!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">max wants to lead a xc clinic at quarry road this week<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">soren wants to go up old speck this weekend!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">sam wants to lead a trip on sunday, shorter, to get someone their co-lead, and also a shorter trip!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">wfr<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">maybe!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">over jan plan break + one day in april (the 21st)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">wilderness first responder, a level up from wilderness first aid<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cit\u2019s great\u201d &#8211; sam<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">stay tuned<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">open house<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">during office hours on monday!
