Jordan First Check-In
My first few weeks in Jordan have been surreal yet enjoyable. The video details my flights from Boston to Amman, via Doha. On the ground, we quarantined for a week and received two tests. Only after this, were we allowed to move in with our host families and move freely around the city. More updates to come shortly.

Hi Will,
Thanks for the interesting video! I think talking to the camera will get easier the more that you do it. Your future videos (at least every other week!), I would be interested in hearing more about your personal impressions. I liked the part where you talked about being at the very ancient ruins and how they seemed both amazing and ordinary. I also liked your description of the lockdown as compared to a “lockdown” in the US. I’m looking forward to hearing more about your studies/experiences with refugees and the general geopolitical environment.
As a tangent, I laughed at your description of the honking cars. When I visited Israel as a college student, I also was struck by all the honking of cars. Sometimes people would honk at the red light like that would force it to change.
As an FYI, you can make your videos shorter if it’s too much work to put together a longer video. In other words, I would much prefer more frequent posts, even if you had to cut down on the length of the videos.
Looking forward to the next one!
Ron
