All sounds were recorded on Monhegan Island, Maine on September 29-30, 2017 with a Zoom H1 digital recorder, and manipulated in Ableton Live 9 using Waves plug-ins and a sampler.
Below you can hear the three original sound files (which were extremely low-quality on purpose) followed by the manipulated versions of them. The constant wind on the island “ruined” the recordings, but that made sampling the sounds/noise more fascinating and the overall creative process more engaging.
