Meridians
In Meridians, David Gulak recounts the opening of his wine and beer shop followed by a locally-focused restaurant in Fairfield, Maine. Gulak grew up harvesting, cooking, and pickling vegetables from his backyard garden, instilling in him the importance of fresh, local food from a young age. To this day, he and his team at Meridians Kitchen and Bar believe in sustainable food practices, sourcing from over one hundred nearby suppliers and striving to keep the menu over 90% local. Running a local, sustainable restaurant does not come without its challenges though as the Meridians team is forced to constantly change their menu depending on what is available and fresh. However, because Gulak and his team love and believe in what they are doing, they continue to bring fresh, local, high quality food and drink to the Fairfield area, leaving their customers satiated and feeling good.
