Young Naturalist, Wetlands, and Earth is a Planet are all $250 for a week of camp. Those camps run Monday-Friday, 9am to 12pm.
Experimental Ecology for Middle School Students is $300. This camp runs from August 18-22nd Mon-Fri, 9am-2pm.
Payment will need to be made in full before camp. Financial Assistance is available, please contact us if you would like to apply.

YOUNG NATURALISTS: The perfect primer for art and science! Together we will start our own nature notebook. Join is to learn about insects, trees, wild plants, flowers, birds and much more through the close observations of living creatures and specimens from our collection! This program will be held indoors and outdoors, weather permitting.
July 21st-25th / 6-8 years old
July 28th-August 1st / 9-11 year olds
WETLANDS: Explore the local wetlands around the Goodwill-Hinckley Campus. We will learn about ponds, streams, rivers, and bogs, This camp will be mostly outdoors, weather permitting, learning in-situ at the pond and stream. Campers are likely to get wet, muddy, and hot. Extra clothing and boots/water shoes are recommended.

EARTH IS A PLANET: Together we will learn about how scientists think the Earth and the Solar System were formed from the Sun. We will explore the Big Bang Theory and look at the Sun through our sunscope, among other hands-on explorations of the Earth as a planet.
August 18th-22nd / Middle School Age Students
EXPERIMENTAL ECOLOGY: Using aquatic ecosystems we will spend a week learning about how to design experiments, collect data, and make conclusions about our research questions. Along the way, you will learn about the plants and animals that live in and around pond environments for food, shelter, and reproduction. We will explore water chemistry and systems, learn why aquatic macro-invertebrates are ecosystem indicators, and contribute date to the LC Bates Museum community science programs.
