My work is divided between two primary fields, Environmental Philosophy and Continental (European) Philosophy from Kant to the present, and I continue to publish, research, and teach courses in both of these areas.<\/h4>\n

I participate in some unique programs at Colby, including the growing Environmental Humanities Initiative,<\/a> which hosted the inaugural Colby Summer Institute in Environmental Humanities in August 2019, and has run successful week-long gatherings of environmental humanities scholars every year since (with the exception of 2020).
