Final Project:<\/strong> Building Energy Systems Review for SSW<\/p>\n

Due date: May 10th, 2018 @ 8am<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Heating & Cooling systems<\/li>\n
  2. Electrical systems<\/li>\n
  3. Comfort survey<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Some questions to think about:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. How does actual building energy performance compare to what was expected at time of LEED certification?<\/p>\n

    2.\u00a0 Benchmark the building energy performance per LEED requirements<\/a>. Does it meet the minimum energy performance threshold?<\/p>\n

    3.\u00a0 Identify at least three (?) energy conservation measures. Calculate savings, costs, simple payback. Consider lighting, lighting controls, HVAC\/controls, any issues identified by occupant comfort survey.<\/p>\n

    4.\u00a0 Is the geothermal system performing as expected?<\/p>\n

    5.\u00a0 Is it possible to calculate energy by end use? Hating, cooling, lighting, plug loads?<\/p>\n

    6.\u00a0 Conduct thermal comfort survey<\/p>\n
