Communal Life

Jewish life transcends religious observance. Jewish communal identity is strongly tied to the idea of tikkun olam, making the world a better place. Through civic organizations, Maine’s Jews have found ways to enact tikkun olam. They serve their local communities while also working on behalf of various national and international causes.
