Articles are words that define the specificity of a noun. <\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There are only two categories of articles. Definite articles define a noun as being specific, whereas indefinite articles define a noun as being nonspecific.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Articles generally come directly before the noun it defines, but if the noun it defines is modified by an adjective that precedes the noun, then the article comes before the adjective instead.<\/strong><\/p>\n
