Lauren Cohen Fisher, Advisor<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Lauren Cohen Fisher<\/em> is thrilled to be Colby’s Hillel advisor as well as one of the faculty members of the Jewish Studies Department, where she teaches classes about Israel and the Israeli\/Palestinian conflict. Lauren joins Colby after years at Hillel International’s Center for Jewish and Israel Education. Lauren received her BA in Government and Creative Writing from Colby and her MA in Security\/Diplomacy Studies from Tel Aviv University. She is over the moon to be back on Mayflower Hill. When not singing niggunim (Jewish wordless tunes) to herself as she lesson plans, Lauren can be found hiking, gathering community for Shabbat dinners, or mailing handwritten letters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Hannah Rothenberg ’28 Co-President<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Hannah Rothenberg <\/em>is a junior from New Hampshire double majoring in Religious Studies and Jewish Studies. She can often be found studying on the third floor of Lovejoy, reading novels in the Hillel room, and skiing with her friends at Sugarloaf. Some of her favorite Hillel moments include cooking delicious Shabbat dinners with her co-president Zoe, spending way too much time in the Hillel room during Pesach, and making hamantaschen at a first-year event! Hannah is super excited to be president and is looking forward to continuing to keep Hillel a welcoming space for everyone!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Zoe Paley ’28 Co-President<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Zoe Paley is a junior from Cambridge, Massachusetts majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology with a minor in Anthropology. She loves all things music and works in the Colby Mixdown Studio in the Gordon Center as a studio manager helping student artists record their music. She is also a very passionate cook and loves bringing community together over a good meal! Some of her favorite things about Colby Hillel are the fall Shabbaton, and post-shabbat Hillel room conversations. She is excited to serve as president this year and hopes to foster an involved, supportive, and welcoming Hillel environment!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
