Jane and I loved getting your long letter. Good for you on the
\ntranslations. Your arrangement sounds foolproof – or maybe it is failsafe.
\nMiriam Diez has translated Adrienne\u2026 In the same mail as your letter,
\nI had a long letter from Adrienne. L\u2019hasard objectif<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Will you come back next summer? When? We miss you.<\/p>\n

You asked me if anybody has translated poems from \u201cOtras Poemas.\u201d
\nBy whom? Is that Parra? Not that I know of – but then, I wouldn\u2019t know.
\nWhen did the book come out? Denise Levertov ought to know. You could write
\nher at Tufts\/Medford\/Massachusetts.<\/p>\n

Christmas Moon<\/del> must be E<\/del>eldritch, under those conditions. I\u2019ve been
\nin England for Christmas, when the cabbages were still growing in the back
\nyards – but at least the sun knew enough not to show up.<\/p>\n

Fried brains for New Year\u2019s Eve. Sounds good. That fish-monger mongs
\nmore than fish. I like that T-shirt\u2026<\/p>\n

Wes, you mention that you would like to see the revised \u201cStone Walls\u201d
\nand then say \u201cas I\u2019d very much like to talk about some of your prose poems.\u201d
\nBut \u201cStone Walls\u201d has no prose in it. Are you thinking of \u201cFlies\u201d? I will
\nsend either, happily. Let me know.<\/p>\n
