(Carl hoped you could share<br \/>\nsome of your anecdotes of 19th century<br \/>\nAmerican literary figures with the<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Major American Writers<\/span> class \u2026 but if<br \/>\nyou have other plans, I\u2019m sure he<br \/>\nwouldn\u2019t mind.) After the reading,<br \/>\nyou may be asked to the home of<br \/>\nsomeone in the English Dep\u2019t for drinks<br \/>\nand conversation.
