I realize you have absolutely no recollection of what you said!<br \/>\nIt was absolutely dear and I appreciated it tremendously. It was also<br \/>\nsheer eloquence. Terror does wonderful things. Anyway, I value what<br \/>\nyou said \u2013 and not nearly so much as I value you. And your work.<\/p>\n<p>Wasn\u2019t that a wonderful woman who had just lost<br \/>\nfour hundred and twenty-two pounds?<\/p>\n<p>We had a wonderful time in Italy. You mailed your card about<br \/>\nsending publicity-stuff to Pat on the day we flew away. Therefore it<br \/>\ngoes out today.<\/p>\n<p>In your letter of October 24th, you speak about the dinner before<br \/>\nmy reading. You want to ask somebody to it \u2013 and I think you mean Dick<br \/>\nSmart, right? His wife is my Aunt Nan, my mother\u2019s sister. Dick and Nan<br \/>\nSmart\/ Tilton\/ New Hampshire. If I have misunderstood, just forgive me.<br \/>\nI am out of my mind with fatigue right now.<\/p>\n<p>While you are reading at Dartmouth I am reading in St. Petersburg,<br \/>\nFlorida. Exact hour. Jane wants to come.
