I know it has been useless to try him so far\u2026but he will<br \/>\ncome around eventually! Summer is actually a very difficult time to<br \/>\nplace things. Most every place closes down, and when you send out poems,<br \/>\nthey come back with a slip saying that nobody is reading them until October.<br \/>\nNot all places but most.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Name\u201d is very nice. I have mild skepticism about \u201csearched,\u201d<br \/>\nas a commonplace, mildly-speaking a dead metaphor. Then I have no others\u2026<br \/>\nI like it a lot.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the Atlantic poem.<\/p>\n<p>Good luck with Norton. Like all other editors in New York, she<br \/>\ntends to take eight or nine months to get around to replying. How can<br \/>\nthey do this!
