But I must not rush<br \/>\nwith book II, you are right, and I will<br \/>\ncertainly not send off a volume that you and<br \/>\nJoey are not convinced of. Right now I figure<br \/>\nI have 15 or so good poems, some culled from<br \/>\nrevisions of book I, some new\u2026<\/p>\n<p>By the way, please tell Joey my submission<br \/>\nto him this fall will be a late one. All<br \/>\nmy running this summer to get dollars for<br \/>\nSean\u2019s college left me somewhat distracted,<br \/>\neven though I kept a fairly regular writing<br \/>\nschedule. Now, I\u2019m preparing for the term<\/p>\n<p>2\/<\/p>\n<p>at Colby&#8211;with some extra teaching to make ends meet.<br \/>\nStill, I look forward to long mornings of writing,<br \/>\nbeginning next week.<\/p>\n<p>I am awfully glad my letter about your play<br \/>\nwas helpful. I do love the play.
