Dear Don,<\/p>\n

Diane bought me this, and while I\u2019m glad to have
\nit and like it, I would really prefer stationery
\na bit simpler–and cheaper. Would you send me
\nsometime the address of the company which does yours?
\nYou mentioned once that prices there are low. Does
\nthe company offer a variety of typefaces for name
\nand address?<\/p>\n

Your notes about poems, sent so quickly after
\nmy questions, have been enormously helpful. I
\nwould be lost without your sympathetic and insightful
\ncomments. Thank you.<\/p>\n

If you like the enclosed–or any part of
\nwhat\u2019s here–please pass it on to Joey. If you
\nhave reservations, I will welcome your letter about
\nthem. I am at work (always) on others, but they
\nmay be awhile. I had hoped for two more for
\nthis batch, but they remain under their stone,
\nuntil some later resurrection!<\/p>\n

By the way, I did<\/span> send the book to Costanzo–
\nthis, after your OK.<\/p>\n

The attached check is for Ploughshares<\/span> poems,<\/p>\n

which earned $25.<\/p>\n

Fall is lovely here–the trees beautiful,
\neven as their leaves fall. We live in such light!<\/p>\n

I think of your fall, pleasantly
\nhaunted by memories of kicking leaves against
\nthe house–and by the Blue Ghost. I trust
\nyou are enjoying the season!<\/p>\n
